maverick_pranav Posted January 20, 2008 Share Posted January 20, 2008 using phoenix edid designer i noticed that for my internal lcd horizontal active pixels are shown as 256 and aspect ratio is correct 16:10. My native resolution is 1280x800.. The reading on two other machines,both having 4:3 ratio screens at 1024x768 resolution are as: horizontal active pixels:640 aspect ratio:4:3 is it possible that when edid is read by osx it initialises display as 256*160..instead of 1280x800.... just thought this could be the cause of the white screen problem.... i maybe wrong... thanx Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/82616-strange-edids/ Share on other sites More sharing options...
