MacNoobMC Posted January 7, 2008 Share Posted January 7, 2008 Hi, if i boot my system with the mac osx86 dvd the grey splash screen with an apple logo on it appears... but it doesnt go any further... anybody knows whats going on? kelvers Posted January 8, 2008 Share Posted January 8, 2008 could be a few things I guess, but if you installed using kernel for sse3, try reinstalling from scratch using kernel for sse2. Could be video card related: hardware incompatibility or simply choosing incorrect drivers. Have you tried typing -x at boot to try booting in safe mode? Those are just a couple ideas. I'm no expert, but I've found trial and error to be my best teacher.
