hi guys, im a newbie here and its been a week that im trying to install TIGER on my PC.

i didnt succeed yet and i always get STILL WAITING FOR ROOT DEVICE.

MY PC SPECS:

Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo 4400 @ 2.0 GHz

Memory: 3,328MB

Board: Intel DG965RY

VGA: Nvidia GeForce 8500GT

HDD: 1 SATA 80GB

1 IDE 80GB

1 IDE DVD writer

1 SATA DVD writer

OSX86 = Macdotnub 10.4.10

i have partitioned my SATA HDD in to two partitions so that i install Tiger on one. i have XP on my other IDE harddrive. what format should my partition be? or should i leave it unallocated...read once that it should be FAT32 but it didnt solve my problem, and tried the DISKPART method (create primary partition id=af and set active).

any help plz?
