I finally got my OSx86 system running with 10.5.1 and efi v8.0. It doesn't like sleep, so I have that turned off. The only other problem I am having is periodic crashes. I'll be doing something and getting an error that I need to restart my computer, yada yada. I've only really been using this computer for the last couple of days, and its happened 3 times so far. Twice I was clicking a link in firefox, and the last I was changing some text styles in photoshop.

I looked for panic.log in my library/logs folder but it isn't there. Tried to restart with debug=0x100, and nothing there either (though I don't know what exactly that was supposed to do). Can anyone advise me what I need to do to figure out where the problem is coming from?

My system is:

gigabyte P35-DS3P

2.66ghz dual core (both cores running)

4gb ram

geforce 8800gts

Initial install with ToH RC2 10.5

Now running EFI 8 with vanilla kernel (started w/10.5, used software update to go to 10.5.1)

Using NVinject.kext (1.5), AppleAzaliaAudio.kext,dmos.kext and AppleSMBIOS.kext (last two included in the efi_v8.0 distro)
