fugazi
After installing iAtkos I am able to reach the Darwin x86 menu. I wait for it to start up and it flashes the apple screen for a split second and restarts (this is post install so its not that I can not boot into the DVD). I tried -s -v -x and cpus=1. Nothing has worked. Anyone have any other ideas? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/78899-leopard-flashes-apple-screen-then-reboots/ Share on other sites
fugazi
Well I got it to work by not installing EFI and only the darwin bootloader. After that I got a kernel panic so I reinstalled and took off the applecpupowermanager (something similar to that). Now I just have to get connected to the internet somehow. fugazi
Ok well I got everything working except for my network card (Realtek RTL8169/8110). I tried installing the drivers from realtek (1.1.6 I believe) and it did not work. If anyone has any ideas as to what I can do please share. Never mind that everything is working perfectly. Finally. agriojohn
if you want to install the efi without flashing the apple screen you must set the xd function of your cpu inside your bios to "disable" (or something like that, i acant remember the exact option) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/78899-leopard-flashes-apple-screen-then-reboots/#findComment-559182 Share on other sites
