houkouonchi
So I finally got my OS X install all working with everything except network. I am going to go buy a realtek 8139 card today for $15 at a local store when they open in about 4-5 hours so that will be solved. One thing which doesn't effect the core usability of the OS is accessing my data on a promise PATA controller IE: root@sabayonx86-64: 06:19 AM :~# lspci | grep -i prom 04:06.0 Mass storage controller: Promise Technology, Inc. 20269 (rev 02) This is preventing me from accessing 3 hard-drives which are on that controller. I also can't access the esata drive which is hooked up to: root@sabayonx86-64: 06:20 AM :~# lspci | grep -i sil | head -1 02:00.0 Mass storage controller: Silicon Image, Inc. Unknown device 3531 (rev 01) But that isn't a huge deal as the drive I have hooked up can be used via USB while I am running it on mac if I have to. So basically what I need is some sort of PCI PATA controller which works on mac OS (and hopefully windows/linux too) so I am able to access all my data/drives. Anyone know any?
