kublid Posted December 27, 2007 Share Posted December 27, 2007 Okay. first I promise I have read and researched before wasting anybody's time. So hopefully this hasn't already been answered. Second, thank you to all in this community for all the great info!! Third, The whole Hackintosh is BRAND NEW to me, so please excuse my ignorance... The issue - I'm using MacOSX 10.4.8 JaS AMD-Intel-SSE2-SSE3 w PPF1 and PPF2 burned to DVD-R. The install disks boots up great - goes into install I used Disk Utility to format my 2nd HD for MAC The setup reconizes the disk and begins install All goes great until it gets to the AMD package - Set-up stalls and then fails.... Any Ideas what is wrong? Do I need to reburn the DVD, download a different .iso? Specs: HP Laptop AMD Turion 64 1.5 gigs mem 2 HD's - 111Gig running WinXP Pro - 93Gig fomatted for Mac OS What am I missing?? Thanks all!!
