greenuns Posted December 26, 2007 Share Posted December 26, 2007 Hi guys I've read a lot of posts saying that there's not much of a price difference between a hackintosh mac pro and a real mac pro. but i also realized most of those posts were posted more than a year ago... Mac pros prices haven't changed much but OEM prices have definately gone south. and looks like i can pick one of these for just over $1500, compared to the $4000 at apple store... so could you guys help me and confirm whether OS X will work without OS patches? I'm guessing EFI patch is better than OS patch? anyways here's the spec... Mobo : TYAN S2696A2NRF (SATA) Dual 771 Intel 5000X Extended ATX Server Motherboard or should i go for the intel brand?
