So I thought I had all of the kinks ironed out for my install but there are a couple things still nagging.

a ) marvell works great for a wile but eventually degrades down to about 5k/sec and will lock the system up eventually - in about this mac everything appears to be fine and it shows up as 1000bit and my yukon2 kext file shows the right hardware/vendor code for the chip...so what could cause a perfect install and work for a while but after rebooting a few times it slowly turns to {censored} and goes slow for downloads and then eveually locks?

b ) usb - i have an Asus A8N32-Sli and my mouse and keyboard are both usb and they are recognized fine but none of my usb ports work for my printer and usb thumb drives... i noticed that IF i go into my bios and turn off legacy and the boot to desktop my keyboard no longer works, my mouse continues to work and now my printer appears....turn legacy on and my printer disappears and my mouse and keyboard work again.....all the while my usb thumb drives never work?? I am using the pcgenusb kext - not sure what to try next??

Those are the last 2 issues for my install!! Any help would be great!!

not sure if this will help anybody but i have figured out the usb issue now..

basically with this particular motherboard the usb will not work properly with legacy usb support turned on in the bios, and i needed the pcgenusbehci.kext file......if i turn that off then usb will work fine in the os. the catch is that i no longer have a functional keyboard in the bios / during boot......so it means that if i ever need to get into the bios etc i will have to reboot - turn legacy on - reboot - do my bios stuff - reboot turn legacy off - boot into osx = pita but whatevs

hope that helps someone else out!!
