Hi,

I finally got OSx86 installed and working perfectly on my Dell Optiplex GX270 ;)

But now when I use fdisk to change the active partition back to my Windows XP partition, I get an "Error loading operating system" message on bootup... So I switch back to my OSx86 partition and it works fine... Then I go back to my XP partition and it still gives me the message. Can someone help me? Will I need to re-install Windows XP? (if I really need to, that's not a big deal, I just had to re-install it a few days ago anyway...)

If you end up reinstalling for some reason install this way:

1 Boot to OSX install disc

2 Make 2 partitions, 1 DOS and one Mac (in that order)

3 Reboot to Windows install disc (make sure you are installing on the partition created for DOS.

4 Make sure windows boots up fine, you should not be able to see the MAC partition in My Computer

5 Boot to OSX and install new installation on MAC partition.

6 Reboot, you should now see a boot menu similar to :

hd0(1) Windows NTFS

hd0(2) Mac OSX

Hope that helps!
