j73
I had kernel panics on shut down after using the hda patcher to give me sound. this was on a leopard installation over tiger. however, when done as a clean install (10.5 on a newly formatted disk) there are no more kernel panics. GoodWIN7
In my case it has turned out because of that I used incorrect dump (revision differed) Try other dump P/S/ No need to reinstall, just 1 boot with -s 2 remount disks in read/write mount -a -u -w 3 delete AppleHDA.kext rm /System/Library/Extensions/AppleHDA.kext or restore from backup (dont forget to restore permissions) 4 delete kext cache rm /System/Library/Extensions.mkext 5 reboot Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/76178-solution-kernel-panic-crash-on-leopard-shut-down/#findComment-542535 Share on other sites
