wellaxer Posted December 13, 2007 Share Posted December 13, 2007 Hi all, I have a question concerning the install of OSX86 10.4.9. My install always hangs up at USB wake on or something to that effect and then I receive the waiting for root device error. I am not totally pc clueless but this has me stumped. I tried altering the bios in many ways andswapping Hdds but the message always appears no matter what i alter. any help would be greatly appreciated as i would love a osx pc! My specs are: GA-P35-DS3L mobo E4300 C2D 2.5 gigs ram liteon ide dvd 2 sata drives one of which is vista the other was to be osx 1 ide drive that i swapped to test any advice would be terrific! Alex also, i am using a usb keyboard and mouse combo could that me the cause of my troubles? i have no spare keyboard so i cant test it out but will if it might be the problem.
