Doug the Impaler
I've got an X600 Pro and I've modified the BIOS as described elsewhere on the forums for refresh rate fixes. That was fantastic. Now I'd like to be able to change resolutions within OS X, as it appears that's not available. I also know how to get it to boot up to 1280x1024 (which I am doing). Is there a way to force OS X to recognize different resolutions so I don't have to reboot to change resolutions? Also, is anyone else with a setup like this able to change resolutions within full-screen apps or games? If this is possible then my question is pretty well null; I haven't had time to play with it much yet, but I'd like to run games at lower resolution than my desktop resolution (for performance's sake...a faster video card would do this too, but I didn't want to spend alot of $$). aaryn
I'm not sure there is a way to do it actually. There is a program (edit I forget what its called its mentioned in this forum) that is supposed to be able to do it but it crashes. Other than that I think we have to wait for them to update the drivers or maybe that application will be updated and work Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/7607-multiple-resolutions/#findComment-49384 Share on other sites
