stasi
Hey Guys! I'd like to have the transparent menubar on my mac. I've read in different topics, that it is possible the graphicscard is too bad and have no QE/CI support. But mine have this support and i have transparent menus. Look at my screenshot. You could see a window behind the menu. It's hard to see, but you CAN see it Any Ideas? PC configuration is at my signature. macgirl
Shure, even on old Macs there are no Transparent Menu bar. Transparent Menu Bar needs Core Image by hardware. In some hackintoshes the transparency on the Menu Bar disappeared with the 10.5.1 update Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/75887-transparent-menus-but-the-menubar-is-opaque/#findComment-536006 Share on other sites
stasi
Yes, i know, but Core Image by hardware is enabled :/ Here's my Screenshot. The German word "unterstützt" means 'supported'. And how can I enable it? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/75887-transparent-menus-but-the-menubar-is-opaque/#findComment-536039 Share on other sites

sujaan
It's a known problem with the nVidia 5200. Even on real PowerMac G5s, the 5200 will not give a transparent menu bar. I'm in the same position too, i feel for you. However Leopard 9A527 DOES have a transparent menu bar.
