beeboo
Hi everybody, i know that the topic GPU is not compatible with Leopard. But, having seen it on HCL 10.5.0, somebody uses that! I've tried any installer but nothing.. Any news from your side? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/75451-leo-geforce-fx5200/ Share on other sites
bluedogmike
Hello, I just used this card with a friends Dell Dimension 2400. Works great in Leopard with NvInject. Fully supported, Qe CI all works, used ToH install disc. more or less
I have the PNY card running and did not use NVinject... either I installed it poorly or its not a good match. I am using Natit from the BrazilMac PPF [i assume its Natit from Tiger ~10.4.8 ish] and it is working fairly well, with some minor issues. I am guessing we may need to just modify the NV...40.kext with our device IDs to get it working proper. Have not had the time or the nerve to do that yet. Let me know what config/kext and settings you guy use for the best results, thanks... I am suspicious that running on the standard PCI bus may limit acceleration...?
