Hi to everyone from Estonia.

I was wondering...

If I have OSX86 DVD without native SATA support, then why is VMWARE my only option. Many topics say that you have to install first OSX and then add necessary via kext from already working system. After that you can do the transfer virtual partion>real partition. Why why why???

I'm not really friend with Unix, but you should be able to load and run kext files straight from the shell, which is available

if you start the installation DVD. So if I have the kext file on a USB flash, then it should load and run perfectly well?? I quess

something similar as pressing F6 with Windows installation and adding necessary SCSI/SATA drivers.

Any comments?

I tried to do it, but unfortunately I don't know how to mount my USB FLASH via SHELL. If I plug it in, it doesn't show up

under disk utility (I cannot remember the command) and there isn't nothing reasonable under /dev as well. My USB mouse

is working though!

Help guys?
