axis1048 Posted December 8, 2007 Share Posted December 8, 2007 HI GUYS, I SUCCESSFULLY INSTALLED OSX 10.4.8 ON MY HP PAVILION DV5217CL. NOW I AM HAVING PROBLEMS CONNECTING TO INTERNET. I TRIED CONNECTING A ETHERNET WIRE FROM MY NETGEAR ROUTER, NO LUCK AND ALSO MY WIRELESS DOESN'T SEEM TO BE WORKING TOO. PLEASE HELP!!! ETHERNET CARD: REALTEK 8139 (Integrated 10/100BASE-T Ethernet LAN) WIRELESS CARD: BROADCOM (54g™ 802.11b/g WLAN with 125HSM / SpeedBooster support) GRAPHICS CARD: ATI RADEON XPRESS 200M IGP (1280 x 800 DISPLAY) BUT NOW IN MAC IT ONLY SHOWS 1024X768 AS THE OPTION I HAVE A DUAL INSTALLATION OF XP AND MAC OSX ON THIS CURRENT LAPTOP. bibendum Posted December 9, 2007 Share Posted December 9, 2007 Dude - either the install has broken your caps lock, or this is your first day on the internet... Seriously, no need to SHOUT. The 8139 chip is supported with the proper hack. Do some searching: http://www.google.com/search?q=REALTEK+8139+hackintosh Your wireless may well be supported also. As to your graphics, I don't think you're gonna get QE or CI out of that chipset, but poke around, maybe you'll find something.
