Hey there,

I'm really interested in having an OSX86 system, been reading up for awhile but still unsure since I'm no coder - all this Terminal stuff & post-patch stuff is bound to mess up on me. Basically I want to have a Shuttle system, since it's pretty small & you can still have the latest stuff in it. I've been looking at this auction & the specs aren't so bad for the price!

If I get this I'd plan to stick in a 2nd hard disk, likely 500GB, just to beef it up as well as a PCI-E Graphics card, likely 7600GT or 7800, since they're good value now & there's good opinions that'll work.

The only issue that's stopping me is how complicated the whole process is, & how much can fail. I read alot about onboard sound & ethernet not working, especially the Broadcom controller that's on that.

So basically I need some advice from the guys that know what's best out there, anything you got I sure could use it. Also, a link to THE definitive guide that works well would be nice, since there's so many guides & methods out there.

Oh, and I plan to run Leopard in any case, & have it as my main system. Probably going to have Windows XP on Parallels or summat similar; dual-booting seems to be overkill for me.

Cheers for reading, appreciate any help you guys can give.
