Eloquence
Hey folks, I have a Mac sitting next to my Windows rig here, all on my gigabit network. But, for some reason, I get like 1mb/s tops between my Mac & my Windows machine Which is a pain, because I am often copying large files between the two. Suggestions? macbrush
There are probably a million things that could cause this problem. But I would make sure UDMA is enabled on the Windows side, check cables, ifconfig for retries, errors... etc, check if any other boxes have proxy-arp turned on, and try with (or without) jumbo packet option on both NICs.
