brutus01
Hi, I am trying to get iatkos 4.1i to work with my P5B-VM. But I am having no luck so far to get a working setup. How did you people set ahci in bios? Did you use MBR or GUID? Anything else enabled during install (drivers, efi, ahci)? Any help/hint would be great! brutus01
With every combination I tried I only get to the apple screen after install and reboot By hte way I am NOT using an extra GFX. Hoped to get the integrated GPU working with this. audit13
Hi everybody. I hope someone can help me out. Hardware: Asus p5b-vm with bios rev 1004 e6300 c2d cpu at stock speed 2 x 1gb ddr667 Crucial ram 160gb Samsung sata drive external usb dvd burner BFG 7200gs pci-e video card I can install Kalyway 10.5.2 and everything works perfectly except for shutdown. Every third or fourth time I choose shutdown from the Apple menu, my lcd screen will go into sleep mode, hard drive and power led on the front of the case will go blank but the power supply and cpu fan continue to run and will not stop until I hold the front power button down or use the switch on the back of the power supply. I have updated from 10.5.2 to 10.5.3 to 10.5.4 to 10.5.5. With each update, the same things happens in that choosing shutdown from the Apple menu doesn't always power off the machine. I find it strange that this happens every third or fourth time. Anyone else have a similar experience? Any information would be appreciated. Thanks.
