Hi,

my hackintosh will lock up on boot 95% of the time, but when it does boot, everything works fine and the machine is solid.

Tried JaS 10.4.8, which needed drivers and a little fiddling and uphuck 10.4.9 v1.4i which supports everything I have.

Booting with -v tells me it's locking up at:

'Waiting on <dict ID="0"><key>IOProviderClass</key><string ID="1">IOResources</string><key>IOResourceMatch</key><string ID="2">boot-uuid-media</string></dict>'

I'm running

Foxconn 945GZ7MC mobo, with a 2.8GHz Pentium D

Nvidia 6200 TC with 64Mb

40GB Maxtor IDE HD

Samsung IDE DVD burner

PS2 keyboard, USB mouse

Oddly, I don't seem to have to do the hack for the keyboard and mouse like most people seem to.

Any ideas?

Fredd
