tysbdhjjsnsg
Hello to all. I have recently installed Tiger 10.4.8 on My AMD6000+ MB M2A-VM HDMI with AMD 690G and SB600 . Everthing is workin except QE on x1250 ans SATA. Just wanated to ask that how can i load sb600 kext before install , as the installation takes around 4 hour. I have loaded the kext and OSX is flying, but i am really sacred of reinstalling it again , so i am not experimenting with more stuff. So i have a hfs+ formatted usb drive with all required kext, only i dun knw how can i load them to speed up the process, or even make a cutom build of dvd with These kext preloaded. Also if a try to load kext from terminal before install, i get message "Not a directory" and have tried loadin with every option but it fails.... Wating for a helpin hand. Anuj Purohit. Superhai
you could use your current extensions.mkext and replace it on your install dvd. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/74341-preload-kext/#findComment-525077 Share on other sites
tysbdhjjsnsg
First of all thanks for replin.. Can you please tell me in more detailed manner or point me to some thread redarding this, also i cannot install macdrive on my windows as some error is there so i need to do all this stuff from mac osx only. Also i have a weird problem that i need to boot with -f and -v option else the Mac runs slow but strangely SATA drives are available(SB600 Chip). Also if i add kernel flag (-f)and(-v) to boot.plist, it does not seem to work.. so every time i boot i need to write -f with -v (avoiding -v also result in slow performance) , then everything is very fast but SATA is disabled.. Thanks Once again.. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/74341-preload-kext/#findComment-525092 Share on other sites

I have the same problem as you Neo. I have a DEll inspiron 1501, AMD Turion 64x2, 2 Gig Ram, and Broadcom Wifi that has SB600 chipset and I have been trying to get anything to see the SATA hard drive during boot. If you manage to get a bootable CD working or how you got the USB flash drive mounted to copy over the IONetwork files I'd love any help you can provide.
