sianto Posted December 1, 2007 Share Posted December 1, 2007 Hi, My Twinhead Laptop spec is: and I wanted to install mac os x x86 natively into it Intel Core 2 Duo T7100 1.8 Ghz 120GB Fujitsu SATA HDD 1GB DDR2 PC5300 Ram I made my hdd into two partitions: 1, (Windows) System, boot, page file, active, crash dump, primary partition 2, (Mac) Primary Partition The steps I've done: - Boot the laptop with mac os x JaS 10.4.8 DVD in it. - "press enter to start up darwin/x86 with no options, or you can:....." - Whether I just press enter, or with command -v -f , it still bring me to the same screen : hi mem tramps at 0xffe00000 PAE enabled enabling INTEL features standard timeslicing quantum is 10000 us vm_page_bootstrap: 252897 free pages mig_table_max_displ = 71 Enabling XMM register save/restore and SSE/SSE2 opcodes ACPI CA 20051117 [debug level=0 layer=0] And then, the system restarts by itself after that point, got to the same screen, - "press enter to start up darwin/x86 with no options, or you can:.....", and then restarts again after that... and so on... Not sure what the problem is but I hope someone could point us in the right direction. Can I disable it through my windows vista? or are there any way else? I am using twinhead (amibios), santarosa core2duo t7100, 1gb ddr2... Twinhead J13S have you had any solution yet? I tried to install leopard yesterday to the very same laptop and it still cant install (hangs) ! grrr..!!
