maytagman
Hey everyone, After a few days of hacking around on my Toshiba A100 I was able to get the Glitchman kexts working w/ PCMCIA support under Kalyway 10.4.10. However when my AR5212 card (WG511T) tries to load on boot it says "391:cpp error. Loaded unsuccessfully". It shows up in the bar but with no icon and the only option is to power it off (which works). Doesn't show in networking. If I load the module after booting it loads fine but still nothing. I've found at least 10 people on this board who have had similar problems... I'm going to download a few other distros (kalyway 10.5 9a527 and ToH 9a581_RC2) Think I'm gonna try an older JaS one too. But my dl is slow... so can anyone try to help me solve this in the meantime? A dependency problem? I have a few... but everything else seems to work fine. All my other hardware is working flawlessly. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/73844-wg511t-problems/ Share on other sites
maytagman
OK this seems to be a version conflict with something from what I can tell... It seems like the people who have fixed this problem have all fixed it by going to 10.4.8 or maybe 9... no one seems to have fixed the problem, just installed a different distro which worked. If anyone has a collection of kexts and wants to try... 10.4.10 Kalyway, 8.10.3 kern, glitchman kexts, bugs bunny pccard kext, 10.4.8 ionetworking, 10.4.5 io80211... I'm torn between spending $50 on a ralink or waiting till another iso finishes downloading. (sooooo sloooowww) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/73844-wg511t-problems/#findComment-522601 Share on other sites
