Hi, I have a question and hope anybody can help me. There is a lot of information in the wiki, witch components work with 10.4.3 but it's a little hard to find the best combination, because there a lot of different chip-sets and many components also need some kind of patch. *i know i'm a noob XD*

I have an old Computer and look for a easy way to run OSX when i do some hardware upgrades. (with no or less patches). I will buy a Motherboard, a CPU (with about 3 GHz) and a grafics card(with about 128 or 256MB).

Please, can anybody help me to find the best combination to have no problems with osx?

Thanks

get intel board(d945G) and ati card(x1600 is the best choice for 10.4.4, but you'll have to wait for hacked version)

they have EFI support(unfortunately no EFI bios replacement was released)

1GB ram should be enough.

seagate/hitachi sata disks are just fine..

there is example configuration in my signature which works with 10.4.3 (gma 950 will work with QE and CI)
