My current machine Core 2 Duo 6600
DQ35MP
2GB RAM
Sata HDD 160GB
1x DVD-ROM (IDE)
External USB DVD-+RW
ICH9
currently using Ubuntu 7.10

When I insert the disc on the onboard DVD-ROM I get a message "Still looking for root device". But when I put it inside the External driver, I get into the Mac OSX installer. The only problem is I can't find any of my harddrive! What must I do? I tried changing the harddrive configurations in the bios, from native IDE to AHCI and later to IDE legacy. But nothing happened, same result. Any ideas?
