gyneric Posted January 20, 2006 Share Posted January 20, 2006 I am new to this forum and have searched everywhere and can't seem to figure out whether my cpu will be supported. I tried the "10.4.3_8f1099_for_dtk_userdvd-PATCHED-v1.1a.iso" and got "kdp_poll: no debugger device" in the verbose mode. I dont have a copy of windows installed on my system, so appplications like cpuz are not an option for me. Can anyone verify whether or not the following hardware configuration will work? gcn2000xl Posted April 24, 2006 Share Posted April 24, 2006 I am curious about luck with the socket 940 FX-51 as well, although I would think it would function as well as the 939 version. I have the Opteron version of this chip in the Asus SK8N motherboard. I will test it and post later in May after I get a new SATA drive to try it with. It'd be great to hear from anyone with a similar configuration. stramec Posted March 22, 2007 Share Posted March 22, 2007 Hi, I'm using the SK8V MOBO with an Opteron processor, everything works except, USB and Onboard Ethernet. Everything shows up in system profiler, but won't work when connected. If anyone has any ideas I'd be grateful. I could get it to work in 10.4.8, but 10.4.9 does not recognize it.
