Anyone know of an app that will do this. I hate booting from the DVD to get into leopard. I know there is another post similar to this one but no one has answered for several days so I thought i'd make a new one.

I have tried using a bootable disk thats supposed to do it for you and it didn't work. I also tried a terminal command "sudo bless -device /dev/diskXsx -setBoot –verbose" and that didn't work. Someone else said to use the install dvd but I made my dvd and it doesn't have the file on it. Any one KNOW how to put a bootloader on the leopard drive.

What version of disk utility did you use to format the drive prior to installation. If you did not use a patched version of disk utility to format that startup volume then you may have problems every booting to it. It terms of your dvd not installing the botloader I do not think thats possible.

But hey what do I know.
