DavidJiang
I installed LEO with BrazilMACpatch on my 2nd main partition, and xp on my 1st main partition. And I use tboot to boot my LEO. After EFI V4 installed,I replace mach_kernel with no-patched mach_kernel. But when i reboot my PC,i choose LEO from the os list.It returns back to the os choosing-list. Then when i choose LEO, I press F8,the bootloader shows that xp partition is the first choice. So I should choose LEO partition by myself! Then it goes well, and LEO shows up,everything works OK! What should I do to fix out this problem? Please give me some advice. Thank you! mots
i am having the same problem with a TOH RC2 install. I have XP on part 1 and OSX on part 2. It boots alright if i "flag" osx partition as "bootable". however it won't boot using iether tboot nor grub to chain pc_efi boot_v8. but i would like to be able to still boot up my windows XP partition. Does anyone know a way to boot an EFIed 10.5.1 osx install from XP bootloader or dos grub ? Can i boot my windows partition using boot camp ? i'll try tonight the good old way, using dd.exe to extract boot sector from osx partition and loading from XP bootloader, adding an entry to boot.ini. I tried with bootpart, no go. I fear there is some problem with the fact that the partition as to be marked as bootable for osx to boot cheers Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/71499-after-efi-v4-installedeverything-works-ok-except-boot-problem/#findComment-529972 Share on other sites
