GandS
Hello. I've got a compaq c300 series laptop. I'm so new to this, and I don't know what kind of wireless card is in it. I've been doing research, and it seems that this is called the "Unknown" broadcom card. No one seems to know the device id, and I am unable to check it. Everytime I go into terminal and try the sudo su or sudo sh it asks for a password but wont allow me to type it in. Does anyone have any idea how to find the id or a driver for this? This is the last thing I need working on my compaq. I was able to get my audio working by myself, and my usb works sometimes, mostly if i restart the computer with a usb device already in. Any help would be great. Thanks so much! -Pat Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/70947-compaq-wifi-help/ Share on other sites
