MusicPirate
Hey everyone, I have been a long time reader of OSx86 forums in leadup to installing Mac OSX onto my destop PC Anyway, i simply deleted the contents of my IDE hd, and removed my sata drive from the pc (which has my XP contents) and plugged in the mac osx cd (after patching it and checking check sums etc). With the cd in i select "install mac osx darwinia", which then leads to a greay screen iwth the apple logo for a while etc etc Now, after this menu comes the blue background with a white box in the middle with a little mac logo stating "prepairing installation". the only problem is, is that its been sitting on this screen for close to an hour now Any ideas on what to do? Is it meant to take this long or have i made a mistake burning it maybe? Thanks in advance! jason Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/7090-need-help-prepairing-installation/ Share on other sites
