hans_arsch Posted November 9, 2007 Share Posted November 9, 2007 Hey folks, i just tried to install the 10.4.8 JaS AMD+Intel DVD on my PC , but when i boot from the DVD everything goes extremly slow. It took me about 2h to come to this blue screen where this rainbow-colored mousecursor shows up, and after another 30minutes without any progress i canceled. mus Posted November 9, 2007 Share Posted November 9, 2007 I had exactly the same problem with similar hardware (AMD/nForce4) and didn't find a solution. I tried 10.4.7 JaS, which is working perfectly. You just have to enable the AMD-Patches and the VIA SATA driver in the installer (not enabling the VIA SATA caused the root device error).
