eragon
Is it possible to install tiger ( or leopard) on a 2 gb USB stick? Will it also be possible to use the OS on 2 different computers if they are compatible with booting from a USB drive? Thanks in advance. BJMoose
You'll need a 4gb stick. The smallest installation of OSX is about 2.5gb and that's without any extra languages or printer drivers installed. As for the second part of your question, it depends on the hardward compatibility of the second computer. An unsupported gfx card or nic or chipset, is still going to be unsupported in the second computer. If the computers are similarly equipped, you can do it. I've switch sticks between two different intel boards, both with different nVidia gfx cards and it works. BJMoose
Then why ask the question in the first place? Why not just try it and see? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/70235-is-it-possible/#findComment-498757 Share on other sites
