so brutally through the whole week, i think i've managed to learn enough to be ready to install. i have the 10.4.10 installer ready to go and just wanted to run through a couple last minute options that i would apperciate some opinons on!

-i'll be installing mac on my second hard drive set as slave. doing this doesnt force me to mess with the dual boot options and i can just choose boot options from my BIOS setup. before i install i'm going to move everything from my secondary hard drive (250 GB WD) to my friends external. i was planning on reformatting the hard drive fresh and making a 6gb FAT32 partition for the install. then another 25GB FAT32 for mac files. and then the rest NTFS for windows. will this be alright?

-next during install what are there any specific options i should select? in the install it says select MBR option when partitioning? i was planning on partitioning with Partition Magic because it seems the easiest.

if the install goes according to plan. its time to start worrying about kexts and the such. but i'd like to get the install down first. that'd be a huge accomplishment for me! so if i could get some pointers and answers. or if there is anything else i could be helped with. please let me know, its appericiated!
