sly55
Hi everyone, I´m totally new to the whole OSx86 thing, and pretty amazed, cause I didn´t know that it is possible to run OSX on a PC. And yes, i used the search function, but didn´t find something helping me... I am so excited about Leopard that I would love to run it on my new laptop. AnAsus F9-F (Core2Duo T2350 with 1,86 Ghz, 2 GB Ram (667), Intel GMA950Graphic Card,Realtek High Defintion Audio, Intel WiFi 3945, and ToshibaBluetooth) with Vista Home Premium I know that I need Tiger to patch the Leopard DVD for installation. SoI took my old laptop, a toshiba satellite p20 (Pentium 4 3GHz, 17",512MB RAM, 60GB, DVD-RW. Geforce FX Go5600 64M) and after a few triesof installation, I got tiger running (intel ss2 and sse3(of course) weren´t running) . I have the Uphuck 10.4.9 dvd, the kernel is universal 3, with nvidia mobility graphic driver. (german ist set as language) NowI wanted to prepare the leopard dvd for my new laptop, and copied allthe files needed to the desktop, but when I start the terminal and type"sudo -s" I cannot type in the password. Does anyone have an idea, or solution? And I am apologizing for a possible stupid question... Manic
You don't normally see your password when using "sudo". Just type it and press Enter.
