Mach: Core 2 Duo (E6700 @2.66 GHz), 2GB Ram, GEForce4 7600 GS video; on an Intel D946GZIS board; and PRO/100 VE builtin nic.

OSX10.4.6 (JAS) version installed to a USB HD (WD 40Gb (10gb MAC; 30 Gb Documents))

Boot happens...OH JOY...so good to be away from IE (XP Pro SP2).... I get an error or two on boot (-v option), but I do boot and can find very much, all over the place...

I would like to try out WWW from OSX, you know, testpilot stuff...I do not pirate :) just test things... and I am still just a newbie.

Modified the IOPCIMatch key in AppleIntel8255x.kext/contents/info.plist and 'sudo'd the thing, I think I can follow instructions well...

After reboot, network is still greyed out (it was grey before trying this out)...

Can anybody direct me to any publication/method/Saint/Guru who has any methods/fixes to open up OSX to my pc... I really do want to testpilot this, I am a convert and if Jobs & Co. ever open OSX for the pc, I will be there the week before sales open...and, in time, when the bucks gather 'round, I may be able to afford a MacBook, or a miniMac...w/intel Core 2 Duo chip...

If all goes well, I will keep an eye out on the New Cat in da Block, the spotted one...

Thanks folks, a million.

Mr. Tensuke, Thank you for your kind reply.

Network Card is a builtin PRO/100 VE (Intel mobo D946GZIS)

Not being vey experienced, I will look for IO80211.kext and try that.

Thank you, very much. Will let you know what happens..
