crazydavid
I'm relatively new to the whole iphone scene, but i have been reading up, i was hoping someone could help me though. From what I understand, if you want to use an iphone in a different country, there are two different unlocks that need to be performed, something called AppTap and the baseband. Am i right in assuming that if I buy an iphone off of the apple US store right now, I will be able to unlock it to use a UK simcard? Im no stranger to tinkering with software, and im hoping the iphone is similar. Im just wondering if there is a way... Im not bothered about music store or anything so 1.02 would be acceptible but i think the phones sold just now will all be 1.10. Can anybody answer me or even just point me in the right direction? Asansi
I got one from a mac store in the US last week, downgraded to 1.0.2 and hacked it watching a youtube video for dummies Works perfect, even here in Belgium with my current provider.
