phade
I have OSX on a IDE hard disk and a SATA one divided in 2 NTFS partitions. One of them contains my previous installation of WinXP. I'd like to run this installation from parallels but I can't get it work. Cause to the multi partition parallels needs to be manually configured by editing the ".pvs" file. I tried but I can only get a "No boot device available, press Enter to continue". This is a spot of my configuration file: [iDE devices] Disk 0:0 enabled = 1 Disk 0:0 = 1 Disk 0:0 media = 1 Disk 0:0 connected = 1 Disk 0:0 image = Boot Camp;disk0s1;disk0s5 Disk 0:1 enabled = 0 Disk 0:1 = 0 Disk 1:0 = 0 Disk 1:1 enabled = 0 Disk 1:1 = 0 I'm shure that disk0s1 and disk0s5 are the correct NTFS partitions Thanks a lot Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/67795-winxp-on-parallels-from-a-dual-partitioned-sata-disk/ Share on other sites
