owendonk Posted October 26, 2007 Share Posted October 26, 2007 I am considering switching to Mac but am not 100%. What would be the best osx86 setup I can put on this? I am currently running Windows XP MCE SP2 on a DFI 975x mobo (intel 975x chipset), a core2duo 6400 (2ghz), 2GB RAM, and an Nvidia 7900gt. I have downloaded APPLE.MAC.OSX.LEOPARD.V10.5.ISO-OSX and successfully extracted the .DMG. Would it be more prudent to wait for osx86 team to release iatkos? As of now, I'm keen to dual boot XP and OS X but came to the OSx86 installation forum for suggestions/advice as to the pros and cons of doing so. Some folks at the insanelymac irc chat sounded like it's not a good idea. What do you think?
