gutaker Posted October 24, 2007 Share Posted October 24, 2007 hi there! as mentioned in title i have some strange installation probs with leopard kalyway_9a527. my rig description is in my signature but i have to add that dvd drive is connected to sata ports thru adapter "abit serillel 2" coz the dvd drive itself is PATA and none of the install discs was i able to run when connected to PATA ports. btw: the disk controller is set in BIOS to AHCI mode anyway i cant install on any drive connected to sata but apparently installation to firewire disk is smooth(so bad PC cant boot from firewire). i get 100% writing files but the percentage bar is not 100%(kind of 80%) and hangs... ...or installation is soomth and when it tries to reboot i get SBBOD on blue backgroud and nothing happens. ofcourse after resetting i cant boot does anyone hav had this kind of prob before or am i the onlyone? thx and cheers Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/67571-loepard-installation-problem/ Share on other sites More sharing options...
