Im planning on upgrading my 7300Gt to and Asus ATI X1950 Pro, is there anything I need to be aware of for the change
. . well, obv you'll have searched & made sure you have installed suitable drivers for the X1950 (in advance), & that you have enough power on a +12v rail [& a suitable connector] from your PSU for this power-hungry thing . . erm; that's about it, really.

I take it all back, I've just used imovie to edit a home video of a gig and it was an absolute joy to use. Oh my sweet mac how could I doubt you. So much so I bought an iMac flat panel version off ebay for my girlfriend (not much power but then she has only basic computing needs) as im sick of scraping the crud and spyware off her windows box every month that her son accumulates despite my best efforts.looks like 10.4.10 support is flaky for x1950pro, wil stick with what ive got or go to a better 7 series so its just a straight swap out. The hack is running great now so I dont want to bugger it up. Anyone like to recommend one? I'm preusming i have to keep it under 256mb? My local stockist only has inno3d brand but I'm not sure if that matters as my 7300GT is Inno3dlooks like 10.4.10 support is flaky for x1950pro, wil stick with what ive got or go to a better 7 series so its just a straight swap out.
