Technobob
Definition : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NX_bit It's not needed to run Mac x86 as Maxxuss has made a patch to get around it Use this program to see what your CPU supports http://www.softpedia.com/get/System/System...e-Edition.shtml Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/6715-what-is-nx/#findComment-41513 Share on other sites
thunder.scripts
Oh I see, my CPU supports NX. I thought it was something similar to SSE3, and since it wasn't in the list displayed by cpu-z, I was wondering how could I be using OS X without having installed any of the maxxuss patches. Thanks again! Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/6715-what-is-nx/#findComment-41562 Share on other sites
