BJMoose
If you've got the same sound on your board as I do, you want Taruga's patch and the STAC_9274. I think you can find it on the page Shoarthing mentions. c-rock
I'm having the exact same problem, same board. There seems to be two versions of this board that have slightly diffrent audio chips ie. the STAC_9274, and STAC_9274D. Both give me the same error as isset posted. I've also tryed versions .14-.16 of the AppleHDA patcher tool. I'm using Jas 10.4.8 with Koolkal update to 10.4.10 if that related to anything. Some one please help, I know this board is has good compatablity, everyone recommended it so I got it and now cant figure it out. Please help Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/66954-mainboard-intel-d975xbx2/#findComment-477582 Share on other sites
c-rock
ITS WORKING!!!!!!! I'm really not sure what I did but my audio is working! Heres the run down if it helps isset; I reinstalled Jas10.4.8 cause I borked it when I was trying to get my ati2600 up Installed the Koolkal combo update to 10.4.10, this time selecting the Azzillia AppleHDA driver/patch. When it restarted I had a speaker icon by the clock, and my apple keyboard could bump the volume up and down, but it did nothing Downloaded the the audio patcher again, version 1.16, and right clicked save target as for the STAC9274D_83847621.txt file in that one post, dragged and droped and it patched it!! Good luck bud! Now if anyone has an idea on getting that 2600xt up.....
