Zombiepron
Ive gotten it about 90-95% there, heres what I did. -Installed OS X using Uphuck's 1.4i r3 install disk (Thanks Uphuck!), Using the main system, drivers for SATA Support, IONetworkingFamily, IO80211Family, And Menumeters (What? They're nifty). -Works alright after that, but video's a bit wonkey, and network, sound, and WiFi dont work at all, so... For Network I went here... http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=38223 (thank you orByte) For Video... http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=35345 (thank you Capatainsquash) For Wireless... http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=59115 (thank you Chrislitkei) And finally for Sound... http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=64220 Note: you will need your device ID for video, If you are using the EXACT same computer that I am, it is 5a62. If you need to find the device ID go into System Profiler (Applications/utilities/systemprofiler, or apple menu, about this mac, click more info) This is just how I got to where I am, Hopefully this'll keep other from doing what I did (read as: Whined in IRC until it worked, sorry to anyone who had to put up with it.) If anyone knows any better methods, please, let me know. jwgesshoo
That's weird. When I installed this on the exact same computer, everything just worked except for the OpenGL Acceleration which is what lead me to this post. Thanks.
