dajst29
I have OS X version 10.4.10 and disk utility version 10.5.6 (198.12). I want to format a 4.7GB DVD+RW in a Windows format. The help instructions tell me to 1. In Disk Utility, select the disk you want to format for Windows computers. 2. Click Erase and choose MS-DOS File System from the Volume Format pop-up menu. 3. Type a name for the disk. Only there is one choice of volume format which is Mac OS Extended (Journaled) and I can't type a name for the disk. I can go through the erase process which takes about 18 minutes but no other options appear. So, what is up with that?
