grendude2
Hello, I've got a fuzitsu laptop a-6025, details below, and I was able to install OS X 10.4.9 without any problems. When I restarted I get to the Darwin.x86 boot v5.0.132 screen, but selecting the OS X partition on my computer doesn't do anything. The computer seems to flash, very quickly) and I'm left with the same choice of operating systems (vista and OS X). I've tried several boot instructions but nothing has any effect. I can boot into Vista without problems (fyi). Any help is appreciated. grendude2
Yeah, no prob. Re-format the drive to fat 32 mdr (i think it was.. m(something)) Then- set the bios to boot the very minimu... ie no usb no serial no parallel no extra drives nothing.. simple basic... Re install with the bare-minimum of drivers.. software .. ect.. if you can get it working then worry about upgrading... From there it's a {censored} shoot, of possible problems.. make sure to assign the drive as active.. somehow vista re-set it for me.. so i had to go back and make it active again.. (either in vista or with diskconfig(not the easiest solution, but possible)) From there maybe you can get to where I am now with the blue screen of death.. (If anyone wants to help me with that, well I've got another post) Good luck Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/66331-installed-fine-but-now-what/#findComment-470539 Share on other sites
