anarchy_1024
Hi, This is just a guess (since I'm relatively new with this).... Kernel loadable modules in backtrace (with dependencies):com.apple.driver.ApplePS2Controller(1.1.0)@0x3b28a000 Maybe you can try using a USB keyboard and mouse instead of a PS/2 kbd/mouse? Or vice versa? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/66176-1048881-kernel-panic-prior-to-install/#findComment-469706 Share on other sites

anarchy_1024
It's a laptop so i'm using the integrated keyboard/touchpad, but i'll see what I can manage I was reading some threads, trying to get my nVidia graphics working with CI/QE (nVidia Quadro NVS 135M 128MB PCIe, on a Dell Latitude D630.... if anyone has any solutions...), and thought this might be helpful for you: QUOTE(debauchery1st @ Feb 14 2007, 04:14 PM) This USB keyboard/mouse problem is starting to bug me though. Kind of puts a damper on the whole mobility thing. http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=35972'>http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=35972'>http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=35972 http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?s=&...st&p=262252'>http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?s=&...st&p=262252 debauchery1st Feb 15 2007, 01:36 PM QUOTE(joe75 @ Feb 14 2007, 04:31 PM) http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=35972 http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?s=&...st&p=262252 Thank you so much! after testing about 10 different ApplePS2Controller.kext files, I think I've found one that works about 75% of the time. It was one of the ones in that second link you gave me. I believe it was this one: http://forum. insanelymac.com/index.php?sho...amp;#entry96076 Just in case it wasn't, I'll repost the working driver file (fixed keyboard AND trackpad on dv6119us) Click to view attachment The above is from here: http://www.insanelymac.com/lofiversion/ind...p/t41447-0.html Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/66176-1048881-kernel-panic-prior-to-install/#findComment-469887 Share on other sites
