Jaden Alekis
A big thanks to anyone who takes the time to read this. I've been trying to get osx86 working for about a week now and have had little to no success. I'm using the 10.4.9Uphuck install dvd. I can get through the entire install process without a hitch, up until the very last section of the actual install, where it says Running OS X Installer script, and then it just hangs there permanently. I can't figure out from the crash dump inside the installer log what's causing the problem. Has anyone else had a problem like this? From what I can tell all of my hardware is compatible. I'm using this motherboard: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16813130082 (Possible problem with the nForce chipset?) And using a Core 2 Duo E6420. For the record, I've also tried using the 10.4.6Jas installer dvd and the 10.4.5. But both of those dvds reboot my computer before they can get to the grey screen with the apple logo. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm absolutely tired of having to use windows and just want a clean install of OSX. No need for dualboot.
