Sailfish
I use only SSE3 chips. How do you avoid having SSE2 SSE3 emulation if you are running with only SSE3 chips? All of my reading indicates that these patches have a very negative impact on performance. Is that correct, or does the SSE3 chip just ignore this patch? Just want the cleanest and quickest combination possible. Can you just delete or remove that patch somehow? Currently working with 8f1111a with JaS 4.2b patch. Maybe 8f1111 with ala carte Maxxuss Patches? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/6585-sse3-emulation-questions/ Share on other sites
macgirl
The emulation kernel from Maxxuss doesn't emulate/convert SSE3 instructions on SSE3 capable processors. anyway if you want to copy back the original kernel you can copy from the original DVD image or from different patchess that Maxxuss did that include the original kernel.
