Nila
hi- My box has a ASROCK P4I45GV motherboard with P4 1.6 GHz. and I have a add on NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200 agp card that I use as my primary display card. A disadvantage of my mobo is that I cannot disable onboard intel agp card. It keeps both of them active at the same time and assigns them the same IRQ! Due to this conflicting situation my Mac OS X 10.4.6 - - install DVD panics while booting. But removing my NVIDIA card solves the situation. It perfectly install OS X with intel card as the only graphics card. Later I plug in NVIDA card and boot it nicely. But one problem is still there. OS X doesn't recognize my NVIDA card. No driver for the said card is loaded. Instead it recognize it as only "vga card!!!" :censored2: . No graphics accelaration available!! 128 MB Graphics memory is not used!! Is there any way to tell OS X to load NVIDIA driver for my card or recognize it?
